I was 16 years old when I was diagnosed with kidney disease

I was 16 years old when I was diagnosed with kidney disease. It was hard for me to believe that one of my organs is not working and so for my family. I was good at study (I know it has nothing to do with me kidneys), and my family always emphasized my eating habits. They used to give me a healthy diet full of nuts, vegetables, and everything. But who knew that this would happen one day. There was a mild infection in the bladder that I kept on ignoring because I had to study.

Having contacted the doctors in my neighborhood, I took medicines for infections, just anti-bacterial. I thought this would work, but unfortunately, it did not. I took medicines for several days and skip later on as the pain disappeared.

No idea existed on our mind that this anti-bacterial can damage my kidneys. Several months later, I felt pain when urinating. Also, there was a little blood in my urine. I thought bladder infection had occurred again. I thought this time I should get myself diagnosed as my exam date was near. I went to the Dr. Lal Path Lab in my nearby area and had some of the kidney function tests, which were suggested by my doctor.

Reports came the next morning, and I was shocked seeing that I was in the second stage of chronic kidney disease. It wasn't easy to believe because there was hardly any other sign, and I was completely fine before this.

Nevertheless, I consulted doctors at Karma Ayurveda Hospital, and luckily my first approach did not go in vain. Doctor Puneet Dhawan saw my reports and said not to worry about it. I could get over this problem with little changes in my diet and lifestyle. Moreover, he assured me to be strict on the Ayurvedic treatment, or else this can progress to the later stages known to be the end-stage renal disease.

I googled everything right back when I came. I prepared guidelines for how I should manage my situation. There was enough of the information available over the internet about what to do and what not to, but I made sure that I do not follow anything blindly.

It is what we all should do in times of crisis, gain enough knowledge, and using our sense of something. People or things may mislead you, but it's up to you that how you get carried away with it.
